Too much of this with NBA stars in the playoffs. Ja Morant missing a game for a sore hand, Kawhi bagging out. It's becoming a thing in recent years.

Ja aggravated an injury he was already dealing with. Pretty nasty fall, too.

Kawhi though is made of glass and doesn't play through injury ever.

Yes, it is a soft league, but in Kawhi's case, I think he is just broken down and it is sad. He has done everything possible to return, but he has still broken down at a bad time.

Good for Brogdon, he is not the player he used to be defensively but is still good. Despite bad knees, he has had a good career, winning both sixth man and rookie of the year awards. He has always been one of my favorites.

Jaylen Brown needs to play better in the Playoffs to boost his earnings for his next contract, either with the Celtics or some other team. He blew it again in the second game in a row; he had some terrible passes, missed shots, turnovers, lousy defense, and was out of position at times. Can the mask and five stitches between fingers on his shooting hand be enough excuses to offset? Was he out partying too much while at home in Atlanta? Has he blown $5, $10, or $20 Million of his next contract so far? I say $15M. In the first game, he was +$10M; 2nd & the 3rd game was -$25M. The net was -$15M for the first three playoff games. Is Brad Stevens thinking of a trade? So far, has he hurt his chances for All-NBA?
