As a complete bandwagoner, someone give me the elevator pitch on what I need to know about this team

What I've gathered from osmosis, they've been a very good team all year but had some up and down moments with Tatum and Brown, a few injuries here and there, and they've basically been Kucherov-ing RWIII and saving him for the playoffs because he's a thoroughly dominant defensive center but a stiff breeze will injure his knee and take him out for a week.

Anything else I need to know before shamelessly hopping on the bandwagon?

They've got a rookie head coach who struggled to close out more games than I'd like but if they put in the effort on D and limit the dumb mistakes they'll coast to the ECF.

That was embarrassing. You're up that big. Put in some of the younger kids. Instead, your big players such as Jaylen, are being lazy with their passes, terrible shots, walking the ball down the court.

The Hawks suck. But if we play like this again after being up by 30 and allow them to cone back in the game? We're gonna lose.

Clean that shit up. Yeah we won. But the manner in which we won was not good enough.

Absolutely agree. They got sloppy because they knew they would win this game. Their play breads terrible habits. Mazzula should have yanked out Brown and others. Thank God White is playing so much better. Smart had a good game as well.

This team seems to play better against better teams and the get beat by lessor teams because of their mental attitude.

Tatum lost or got reduced in the race for NBA MVP because he thought he was better than he was and he started to not be able to recover.

If they keep playing this way, losing big leads they will be building in a habit that doesn't go with being a championship team. The coaches can't allow this.

I am not watching, but if Tony Brothers, Mark Davis, or Scott Foster are calling the game, I bet you are right.

How come Grant Williams hasn’t played a minute this series ?

It is a combination of a personality conflict with the great Mazzulla, and his offensive shortcomings. I don't really like Williams, but think he brings much more value than Mazzulla. .....They are going to Trade Williams this summer, and Mazzula is killing his value. But Mazzula's job is to play the best players, Still, Williams is a bit better than Hauser..........

Not sure what you're talking about, they're barely calling any fouls.

Kind of a weird game overall. Hawks absolutely killed it on the offensive boards, but love to throw the ball away.

Brown probably lost $5 M that game but he has the mask and the hands as an excuse so maybe they offset.

He certainly should and will get more against the Sixers and Bucks, but Mazzulla definitely has a problem with him.

I love me some Derrick White. He is not a great sooter, but that has improved and he is a very complete, consistent and tough player. He is the only Celtic to have played all 82 games, this season, a couple with a busted Ear drum?! He cost a lot to acquire, but they could use a couple more like him.

He's arguably their 3rd best player after Tatum and Brown.

He's been consistent, and his shooting has improved this season. I seem to recall him changing his release during the offseason.
