Coaches will often tell a player when to go in during certain scenarios. At a certain time or next offensive sequence etc. so I’d say no but Marcus Smart has been elevated to such a level of importance honestly who knows

The Celts have had success going small and fast against Philly the last couple years. They need to do that and attack Harden over and over again on the defensive end.

Boy did Mazzula f*** up in Game 1. A total coaching disaster.
It's a players league. Mazzula didn't turn the ball over 16 times, Mazzula didn't play zero defense, whatever the blame pie looks like, Mazzula has a small sliver. The coach is an easy target for people who don't want to blame players

Embiid just cannot help himself with the flopping. It's honestly impressive how committed he is to it.
& no need to do it, he is a great ball player.

Much better effort on defence except for leak-outs. Gotta be better getting back down the flloor

I hope that Tatum is over this MVP thing in his head. He came in 4th in the voting. He got ZERO votes for #1 & #2, he got 1 vote for #3 and 89 votes for #4. As I said before he needs to stop whining. Now he has 3 fouls against him and has turned the ball over the most and he is on the bench. Tatum just have fun play ball. Tatum must be the leader and Brown must accept that Tarum is the Celtics leader.

Now play some ball with defense. When they don't play defense they lose, period, and they blow leads.

Go Celtics
