How can Boston have two bad coaches, one with the Celtics and the other with the Bruins?

What should I except with the Patriots?

Celtics defense is letting teams shoot 38% from 3 and scoring 116 points in the playoffs. 42% from 3 and 121 points after game 2 against Atlanta. You can't win anything when you have to score high 120s to win. Their offense is better than last year but their defense has gotten worse more than their defense has improved.

As long as Embiid is out the adjustment has to be going way smaller, they are just hunting Horford and you can tell he's lost a step to guard the perimeter players. It was the same against the Hawks and why they're giving up so many open 3s because someone has to help or it's a easy layup. Celtics are now 9-9 at home in the playoffs in the last three seasons.

Yeah i honestly blame the end of game play calling less than I do the defensive effort
They have given up more points in playoff games than they did all of last season five times already. They have only played 7 games! Most they gave up last year was 118, already given up two 119 point games, 120, 121 and 130.

It's both tho. The D sucks but they still had the lead with the ball late in the game. Then they tried dribbling out the clock stupidly early and it all spiraled down from there.

It's the most talented team in the league, anything short of losing a tough finals or injuries to star players should get Mazzulla fired with how little defense they're playing. That's Brown and now Brogdon putting some blame on the coaches in the last 3 games. Can only piece facts together but it feels like someone powerful got in their feelings with Udoka and made the team worse because of it, no way he's already a head coach again if he did something terrible. They were still a dumb team at closing games but he had them locking teams down nightly.

Fair but I consider that to be on the players. They are big boys at this point, it’s not like it’s a young team. They should know how to close out a lead at home. While Mazzulla can be better I don’t think that makes Udoka great. They both have coached 1 year here and Mazzulla won more games.

Idk about that, the nets looked into him and then quickly aborted. The team that hired him is known for having the worst culture in the league.

Udoka was being mentioned for more than just Rockets. He was getting a job this offseason.

Udoka would have been the Nets coach if they weren't publicly imploding, Kyrie got suspended 5 games just 2 days after the reports that the Nets wanted Udoka because he opened his third eye again. It would have been bad pr for them to hire a coach that was suspended in the middle of that. What he did wasn't criminal or terrible otherwise the Celtics wouldn't have just suspended him, wouldn't just let another team hire him and he wouldn't get a job. It feels like something that was personal between him and someone with some power above him but as was the most obvious thing at the time, the people who lost out most are the players and the fans because the team is worse.

It is called "taking care of your own end." For me, that means playing defense. The Celtics struggle with doing that. They lost because they allowed Philly to score, especially, Harden. Mazzulla doesn't know or doesn't have the guts to pull out players that won't play defense like Brown and Tatum. He lost this game with the players he played, he could have lost playing the bench that might play defense. What sense does it make for Brown and Tatum to charge through a punch of Philly players to only miss the shot or lose the ball?

Mazzulla could have remained and should have remained the interim coach. Why did Brad have to make that mistake. They have not played well or the same as they did before they made the status change with Mazzulla.

Enough said, may wake up and play winning ball as a TEAM, not individual stats.

Go Celtics...clean up your act, not with words but instead winning performance. Defense is winning performance.

Zo and Bertrand saying that the broadcast caught Marcus Smart deciding to sub himself back into the game. Did that really happen?
