Yup, f*** these scumbags. They pulled a stunt far worse than what everyone is (rightfully) crapping on Fisher and the A's for.

Literally pulled mob tactics on a widow to get the team then ran around holding cities hostage until one paid up and now they sell with their pockets full of taxpayer money.

I was lucky to work with Pawtucket management for years. Ben Mondor, Mike Tamburro, and Lou Schwechheimer ran an operation that was truly fan-first. I have yet to meet anyone who did not enjoy McCoy Stadium.

Ben's succession plans were straightforward - His wife Madeleine would get his stock and Mike and Lou would get the team if anything happened to her.

But FSG wanted control.

Tamburro agreed to stay on and Schwechheimer bought a AAA team in New Orleans and planned to move them to Wichita

This is crazy... The Shohei Ohtani sweepstakes is heating up. MLB Network insider Jon Heyman reports in an article for the New York Post that the two-way superstar has already received multiple bids "well north of $500 million," and some are wondering if the bidding could reach $600 million by the time things are said and done.

He would have got 700 easy if he didn't get hurt.

If I had to guess, I'd say the Mariners are in the process of dumping salary in order to add Blake Snell.

Breslow and Cora already cowering and covering for their upcoming off-season moves and the meetings just began. Was just on MLB Network talking about how they have the talent on their current roster that just need to be better next year. In a year of a Cy Young award winner and Yamamoto, we're really gonna walk away with Seth Lugo.
