Which is fine with me. I think he can be more effective playing 50 games, RS and Playoffs than 70+.

DK started off great then tapered off as the season progressed

That’s all he has done for years. He ain’t a center anymore. He is best cut out to be a Phil Kessel in Pittsburgh type adding offense lower in the lineup.

I would like to know what the incentives are and how much is involved. Something cost controlled/unreachable with a high payoff like 20 goals would be nice. Wheeler is only getting 800k plus 300k in incentives from NYR. Max pain is 1.1. A deal like that might be better than one that starts at 1M if the end figure is much higher.
