Theres something so insane about Carlssons vision. I can't shake the feeling that he's gonna be Barkov to Bedards Mackinnon. Someone knock me out until 2026 I wanna fast forward.

Yup! Getting one of Fantilli, Carlsson, Dvorsky, or Allen, or...Bedard....would make most of us VERY HAPPY!! (Allen might go top 5-10?). If not Allen with our Florida pick...the next best prospect to Allen!

The top 8 is really really good to see.
Carlsson is more a top 5 pick to me, but I really like Ritchie and Stramel too...
Top 6 pick for Habs will be perfect (Bedard, Michkov, Fantelli, Dvorsky, Yager and Carlsson, wow!!)

He's raw, that's what the scouts are saying and it's a fair criticism for now. Carlsson is emerging much after most of the others is the 2nd factor, + let's be honest here, his two U18 presence have been average.

Smaller winger with not the best skating; he's a good player but I understand why he's not getting love ahead of some of the other monster good prospects.
It's still too early to formulate a proper rankings, but it would not surpise me if he sneaks into the top 10. I agree about his size and position, but he can generate plays / points. I also like his hockey IQ. But yeah, 2023 draft is turning out to be top-heavy and it will be interesting to follow this coming season.

I have him at 9 right now but there's just so many good prospects, we'll see how it shakes out.
It's why I'm happy we have another first.. the Florida pick, unless they win the division is going to net us a really good prospects. Someone who's probably a top 10ish talent in other years.

I think he's a great player. But I do need to evaluate his skating and just how offensively dominant he can be as the season goes on.
His skating is not his forte, but other areas of his game make up for it.
I really loved his PO performance, most times he looked like the best player on his team.
Curious to see how he does during his upcoming draft year.
