Cristall is an opportunistic player. Yager hasn't done a thing so far this camp.
I haven't seen the whole game on video yet, but seeing Cristall's highlight goal really surprised me. Usually he doesn't score in this way, he is a great playmaker in O-zone, and very patient in OT, but rarely bury breakaway by himself, passing-first. Kelowna emphasizes teamwork, but today in this goal he showed his individual effort.

Is that it? Is that the list of russians in the NHL drafted out of the Q? lol

I mean there aren't very many Russians in the Q anyway so it's a bit of a weird observation lol. Khovanov is also a very good player he just seems to lack the discipline to keep himself in shape if Wild twitter is to be believed. I think using Khovanov as an example of why you don't draft players from one specific nationality who played in one specific league is a bit weird. Anyone from anywhere and any league can fall off because of their lack of desire or attention to or care of how in shape you are.

I'm interested to see how these 2 undrafted from the USHL do next year, Jake Livanavage and Sam Harris do, both are going to repeat in the USHL but then head to 2 of the top programs in the NCAA in North Dakota and Denver. There's also Michael La Starza who will be at BU in the fall so I will get a good look at him assuming he gets regular TOI.

Small "behind the scenes" video from the Wild's 2022 draft (nothing jaw dropping but interesting perspective on each team's different rankings of prospects)

Fun to see a Judd Brackett run draft, but I would've loved to watch more player analysis from them. Liked Guerin's perspective on not rushing players too. Here's a former high end player saying you how important it is to bring them in when they're ready.
