It has happened for decades. You see it all the time when the Giants or Knicks pick in the draft as well. They know NY has a massive audience and they drop the commercials before they pick.ofc they go to commercial while the Rangers make their pick this isn't the first year I've noticed that
would have preferred Luca. He's still there if we can somehow trade Goodrow for a 4th or 5th.He’s not a PMD. He’s defense first. Maybe he doesn’t treat the puck like a grenade, maybe he does, but he’s not a guy whose transition game stood out to me
I remember when we took dmen that couldn’t score but at least they could skate![]()
Yup.
Not happeningwould have preferred Luca. He's still there if we can somehow trade Goodrow for a 4th or 5th.
Maybe some other team was talking to Pitt and Rangers were able to ace them out because Pitt would only drop down 1.seriously I don't get it lol - was the difference that miniscule that a 7th enticed them to trade down a spot?
the bigger issue is this guy can't score or skate. what is he good at? being tall?christ ppl. its a f***ing 7th round pick to get the guy they clearly wanted above anyone else. the rangers havent drafted a player in the 7th round that was worth anything in 23 years.
he's a stay-at-home so I wouldn't expect his skating to be elite. Can't be worse than Trouba's...![]()
Yup.
I just want for once to get an elite skater, like WTF. We somehow luck into back to back 1st & 2nd overall picks and a perennial Norris level dman; and all of thems biggest weakness is their skating lmao. Can't make this shit uphe's a stay-at-home so I wouldn't expect his skating to be elite. Can't be worse than Trouba's...
from what it sounds like he's 3-4 years out. By then who knows what our d-group looks like.
Defense and goaltending still a big problem.Blackhawks gonna make the playoffs
