If Smith and Carlsson are gone and Habs are too chicken shit to take Michkov, I'm fully on board for Reinbacher. Guhle-Reinbacher, top pairing is set for next 10+ years.

If we drop it's not the end of the world because there's a plethora of guys that are in the same tier provided Michkov is off the table IMO.
Leonard, Reinbacher, Sandin Pelikka, Sale, Moore, Yager, Wood, Dvorsky ect.
And at #5, it's either one of those guys or MIchkov.

How? They went from Naslund to H.Sedin to Pettersson. We went from Koivu to Plekanec to Danault to Suzuki. Habs are one of the only teams in the league not to have a top 10 talent at any position.

While DD played on the first line, I wouldn't say he was our #1 C since Plekanec was better.
