Our last two draft got us

Slafkovsky, (Dach can we count him?), Reinbacher, Hutson, Beck.

I would say the jury is still out on this one but

Top 6 power forward
Top 6 C
Top pair RD
Top offensive D
Top middle six, defensive C.

Seems like quite the haul mate. Slafkovksy, Dach, Hutson and Reinbacher also still have a chance to become superstar assuming a surge in their development.

Truth is, last year draft looked pretty good for us and even a year later most of the prospects drafted are on an upward trajectory and some look really solid.

Most might not make it, but that crop looks promising.

This year we’ve only made three picks and I get why some are disappointed. Some years we can be excited about one draft and hate an other with the other ending up with a better players in the long term.

Hard to see that for now as last year still holds up well a year later. Even if only Reinbacher makes it, its still a net positive with what we got last year.

Another goalie, Jesus christ. Went in with 5, 31, 37, 69, 101, 110, 128 and come out with 2D, 2G, Alex Newhook and Florian Xhekaj.

Is Caufield going to score 125 goals a year for us?
He better starts scoring those 50 goals in a single season cause we will need it.

3 years for now average hab fan be like "If you add the last 3 seasons Caufield scored 50 goals wow".
