This draft is telling that HuGo believes Dach, Suzuki, Caufield, Newhook & Slaf are gonna all have multiple extra gears to hit over the next 3-5 years. I’m all aboard
Newhook better pile up points. Anything under 60 per season would be disappointing.

We're banking on it now.

That's the risk associated with our first pick this year.

I like Fowler. He was on my list for that 3rd round pick.
I was hoping they'd take a goalie late since I don't think there's much value in drafting one high. If we'd kept the other two picks or taken a swing at 5 I wouldn't mind it, but I don't like the value at 69 given the circumstances.

“im all in on Roy All these clowns can go fook dem selfs. At least Roy will make sure to bring in Local kids and make sure those loco don't f*** around. Get me ROy And Molson.... SELL THE FOOKING TEAM!!”

Real adult behaviour
Did i insult a member of the board though?

Thank you

30 point guys aren't worth two picks in 30s either.
Believe it or not, they think he can be more than a 30 point forward. They paid a price thinking he can be more than what he is as a 22 year old with 2 NHL seasons.

At least we’ll be top 5 again next year when Montembault falls back to his regular crap after getting a 3+ mill contract
What impact would have had any 2023 draft picks on the 2023-24 Habs season ? Habs are gonna be better just by the simple fact they could have less injuries, and the kids on D have gained precious experience last season. Mont gonna be fine like he showed last season and at the last World.

And there go Cataford and Ziemmer. Suniev, Perron, Barkey, Rykov, Price, Mania, Ciernik, Pinelli, Minnetian, Cagnoni highest left for me.
