Crazy to be Klimovich did not get drafted.
This is a guy who not only has high upside, great skills and good numbers... but...
his Dad played in the NHL... his big brother moved to America at 17 and played under a US passport...
and the biggest criticism? Size.
But his Dad is 6'3 and his 2x older brothers are 6'4 and 6'2.
Ivan is 2 years older and was listed at 6'0 when 18... so would not shock me if Yegor still grows to like ~5'11.

Took Bonk because “there weren’t many other defenseman they liked in that range” and traded up for Bjarnason because “there was a run on goalies and they didn’t want to miss out.”

Yeah there are tiers of players where I would possibly work in positional scarcity and likelihood of the player making it to my next pick but the draft was moving too fast for that lol.

I watched the Flyers trade a future 2nd to take a f***ing goalie, and then I just peaced and saw Across the Spider-Verse with a free afternoon. I’m the real winner here. I’m just looking at these dumb names and another goalie in the 3rd, and I’ll just assume they all suck. Shoutout Flahrsy. Oh, hey, they picked Knuble’s kid! Keep it in the family.

It was phenomenal — even better than the 1st. I saw it in Dolby too. Truly, this movie (and the last one too) blew my mind with the unending levels of creativity. I can’t even understand how a movie like this gets cobbled together. Which is ironic given we’re simultaneously watching the Flyers draw stick figures in their asset management.

It was a fine pick and not much of a reach...the over reaction here on the Flyers board is typical......many lists before the draft had Bonk in the 20's range.....
