Looks like USA gonna take this one. Good game, full credit to the American gals they weathered the storm & took over in the third.
 
lol Canada just skating back all slow... they're really all sleeping.

That's over -- turning it off, won't listen to their anthem.

Shame on them, this was a terrible performance.
 
What a f***ing stupid clear by Thompson. Had all day to clear it down the ice and she just back hands it into outer space without any idea where it’s going. Cost us the game. Also Desbiens was trash. She couldn’t stop a beach ball

She made a mistake, we all make em.

There will be another day to fight and she can redeem herself which I bet she will.

Desbiens has to have that 4th goal. No screen and she was just late getting her glove up. Sleep walking in this one
 
As a womens hockey fan from Europe.

What a BS ending this was. With 05:03 remaining Spooner gets hooked by a US player and reaches with her stick vs Abbey Murphy who has caught a rut in the ice and is going down already - and then Spooner misses her with her stick. Refs call a total phantom penalty with 5 minutes to go.

So we play a great game for 55 minutes and then a brutally wrong penalty call from an inept ref decides a game, what an absolute farce!

If you are going to decide the final with a penalty in the final minutes, you better make sure its a clear cut correct call and not a blatant missed one!

We didn't lose because of that, we lost for a multitude of reasons, all hockey related and no reffing. How about scoring on our p.p? that might have helped!!

Yeah, I get that. But Canada still could have won if that brutal call had not happened, it led to the game winning goal and it should never have happened. Players should decide not the refs. It robbed us potentially of a thrilling long OT.

I would hate to see that call being made in a stanley cup final game 7 OT as well, just terrible.
