Beck vs Engstrom vs Heineman
Tough call.
All 3 I'm expecting to be very solid middle of the lineup players.

I think Engstrom got the chance to be the more impactful, playing 20minutes a night and 2nd pp wave. I would be surprised if Heineman and Beck are more than 3rd line players.

Yes, inexcusable that we can't vote for Dobes but we can vote for Trudeau!!

What the sweet phoque?

That's my bad, it should have been Dobes or Kapanen, but I think I skipped a page when counting the votes.

At least none of the three actually had a chance of going #5.

Also, there was like only 15 peoples that voted for next out of 260 poll votes.

If Trudeau were in the NCAA, would he be getting consideration for high honours?

Probably lower than now, but his play in the AHL definitely increased his stock. I have him at 18 and he was #30 last year.
He's a pylon, IMO. But perhaps you are less down on him than I am.

Let's put it this way. Dobes has potential to maybe be a #1 NHL goalie.

Trudeau does not have potential to be even a top-4 D.

Dobes should have been there from the start. He is one of the guys with the most potential for an NHL impact. He's also one of the guys the club is probably LEAST willing to trade, whereas Trudeau could easily be the next Fairbrother to be thrown into a deal to keep the contracts down.

Yeah, I like Beck. He's a nice prospect to have in the system, but he has 4C faceoff specialist written all over him.

Engstrom also has the highest bust factor of the three. I like him alot but Heineman and Beck look to have a high probability of being middle six forwards who bring a ton of much needed speed and sandpaper along with the potential to be 40+ point producers.

If we were dealing with tiers I would have all three in the same tier. For me, in this particular case it came down to the safest player and best fit.

I have Dobes higher at #10, I just don't fret about the new adds until their turns comes close.

Except Dobes is top 4-5 for me, so I fretted. One of the guys we are least likely to trade. Has to be up there.

People are fawning over Fowler but Dobes is much bigger.
