Voted Hutson because he is really something else right now. Looking like an absolute menace.

Reinbacher will hopefully be up there next year with another season under his belt.

They're just two completely different types of players so it's hard to compare them head to head.

Engstrom should be added, as he's likely the best player (currently).

Reinbacher lacks mileage, I feel we'll have a better idea of where he's situated next year.

Mailloux has the best tools.

Hutson is currently the most productive player.

Beck, Heineman and Roy complete the next part of that tier of prospect.

I'll vote, tentatively, for Hutson because of his pure ability to create offense and his potential for physical growth, but those four defensemen are tough to choose between.

People seem a bit confused by this ranking. It shouldn't be the most NHL-ready, but the one with the most value, so the one who's likely to be ultimately the best player. In that sense, Reinbacher should be an automatic No. 1, considering that all the others are much later picks, despite their fine progress since then. Yes, Hutson looks promising, but at no time he should be ranked ahead of Reinbacher at this moment, after he has just been taken 5th overall one week ago.

To add: Adam Engstrom

I found this hard.

I wanted to vote Hutson, but sort of impulsively voted Reinbacher (probably from draft position bias more than anything else).

Can't change my vote now but I think it's Hutson.

Our top 4 prospects (players not on team, so no Slafkovsky) are all D imo.

Actually, top 3 are D. Beck is 4.

The question is about the best prospect

Best can be subjective
