Looking forward to see two new teams on the grid...eventually.

I also hope it will still be a three-horse race (Red Bull, Mercedes, and Ferrari) by the end of October.

Miami was super boring, and I can't imagine Vegas being any better (plus adding 200,000 drunk dudebros ensures I'll never visit Vegas around that time).

Also hoping that Portimao gets added to the schedule instead of Shanghai.

I may be mixing up races, but wasn't Miami's ugliness (the area where they're racing, not the city itself) the bigger issue? From what I remember it was an okay race.

I rarely hope to see teams crash and burn (figuratively speaking).

But I hope McLaren crash and burn this season. That crashing and burning cannot really send them possibly further than 6th in the constructor standings (I think Aston Martin improve a bit), but I hope that's where they end up. With some further hilarity such as Lando Norris wanting to leave but realizing the hard way that the only available seat available upwards is the 2nd drive in Red Bull (and probably losing it to Nyck De Vries or something).

Well, Red Bull too. But McLaren more.

Why?

Not holding by breath on Ferrari.

I always thought 2022 would be their chance. Merc and RB had all their focus on the 2021 title fight while realistically Ferrari had all their eyes on 2022 since early 2020. I do see them falling into a bit of a no man's land here, Red Bull 2017-18 esque. Where they're still one of the top teams but clearly inferior to the top 2, while having no trouble being ahead of whoever finishes fourth. Perhaps picking up the odd win here or there.

Red Bull to partner with Ford, starting in 2026.

Great to have Ford back... I thought they may end up with the US teams but hard to turn down a partnership with Red Bull.

Kinda cool to see Merc stick to their side pod design, Toto saying they don’t think the side pod is a performance relative part. Can’t wait for the season to start, Haas new livery looks good on track also. Just hoping someone can give Redbull a fight

Haas new livery looks good on track also.
Getting a bit close to some classic IndyCar Haas liveries though. It's one thing for Gene Haas to use his own name the way he does, but another to start copying other things from the more established team.

Other than that, even Sauber's livery looks like Alfa is on its way out.

They need to mandate a certain percentage of the car that has to be painted or whatever, because I don't want to have 20 cars with nothing but sponsor stickers slapped on a full carbon fiber background.

I think I read somewhere that the paint adds up to about 6 kg of weight, so they're all obviously gonna reduce it until someone tells them not to.

Haas: Black with white
Red Bull: Very dark blue
Williams: Blue
Alfa: Black with red
AlphaTauri: Dark blue
McLaren: Black with orange
Aston: Dark green
Ferrari: Red with black
Mercedes: Black
Alpine: ... why is this being launched at eight in the evening? Either way, blue.

What a line-up. I think there's more surface area of the McLaren with sponsors on it than colours.
