What a 4th quarter. Can only imagine the stories being hastily re-written. Really, really, happy for them. A loss would have been devastating after shooting themselves in the foot against Brazil and blowing such a huge opportunity. Onto the QFs and more importantly, Paris!

This is the first time SGA and Brooks has suited up for Team Canada and Murray hasn't suited up since he turned pro. I'm willing to give Wiggins a pass on that and welcome him on the Olympic team. He did represent us a few years back.

Germany beat Latvia to set up a USA-Germany SF.

Canada and Slovenia tip off here very soon. The winner will play Serbia in the other SF.
 
luka might be my most disliked player in the nba of the new generation. he acts like such a spoiled brat and yelling at officals etc so annoying.
 
Halftime...50-50. Back and forth so far.

You have to play smart with the lead. Make them foul you and keep getting 2s and FTs.

A couple of big rebounds and then SGA with the clutch 2 and the harm.

Big momentum swing there.

3 straight missed free throws though. :P
 
Winning all of those rebounds has been the difference late.

Way to close it down in that second half Canada.

Slovenia just fell apart.
 
SGA is an absolute superstar!! My goodness, what a game! What a win!!! Let’s go!!!!!!
 
Gotta say Luka needs to stop whining after every play, this is what happens when the NBA refs are too soft to toss guys for yelling 100 times at them during a game. FIBA refs aren’t like that. All game Luka was on the refs snd he finally got tossed. Really wish the league would come down harder on guys just crying after every possession
