Assuming Bergy is back in game 2 and no one else is too sick or hurt to go, what's your lineup? And who gets bumped?

I didn't find Uncle Nick all that noticable last night (but it was his first game in like 6 weeks so there's bound to be rust). Freddy had more chances but he boxed up a couple perfect setups from Hall and got robbed by Lyon on one. Not sure which of the two I'd bump, Freddy was more effective but I think Foligno has more to provide given time to get back to full speed. I might just rotate the two until one of them claims ownership of the 4th line wing slot, and would scratch Foligno as to not overwork him coming back from injury.

Third line wing is the other question. Is it Bert or Zacha? I don't want to break up the Czechmates after a successful year, but kind of feel like Bert's presence on that line and his chemistry with Pasta is remarkable, while Zacha having more of a quick shot mentality would complement Hall and Coyle on the third line.

But either way, it's an embarrassment of riches and this roster is so deep it's hard to go wrong or put anyone in a bad situation. It's not like we're deciding between washed up Backes and Providence shuttle guy Kuhlman for a top-6 role in the Stanley Cup Finals anymore.

I'd sit Foligno, but it's not going to happen. I thought Frederic played well, had many chances and was moving his feet.
Absolutely. Frederic was noticeably better than Foligno, had two shots on goal. I can see sitting Greer or Lauko for Nick but it would be unfair to take Frederic out of the lineup so we can see if Foligno can find his game again after missing two months with a knee injury. At this point Lauko would probably bring more.

J Stew is a clown. Unless it is coming from a beat reporter of the Bruins I don't listen to them especially when it comes to injuries
He actually has some sources. I think the team would keep a Bergeron injury quiet so beat reporters wouldn’t know. Time will tell. Bergeron was in the player circle pre game in locker room. If he were “sick with bug” that wouldn’t have happened.

J Stew on 98.5 says his source is saying Bergeron has a back injury and could be out for the series
He's just sick, no? Don't teams generally have players that are sick in the middle of a big group hug right before game 1?

When asked if Bergeron is dealing with an illness or an injury, Sweeney responded, "a little bit of both."

On the 98.5 Sports Hub Underground podcast, Ty Anderson alludes to Bergeron not playing tomorrow. Fine by me

I Understand, but disagree. He definitely has Celtic and NBA sources, so I would imagine he has Bruin sources as well. Furthermore, Bergy did bend vey awkwardly when he took that cross check to the jaw, and he may have already had the "lower body injury." I wish some people on this board could learn not to make ad hominem attacks when someone delivers news, or possible news, they do not want to hear.

Think the (hopeful) plan is to save Gryz and try to not use him this series then possibly rest whoever is the most banged up d-man after this series gets swapped out for Gryz?

I know never overlook the current team/series but might as well take advantage of the depth and also plan for the future at the same time.

They could have used him last night- Bs were having problems getting through the neutral zone clean.

The Spittin Chicklets live stream from last night (18:20-19:00) said it’s Bergeron’s elbow. I believe these guys over J Stew any day

Just watched the game tonight. Last night was my son's 21st birthday, so I could not see the game live. My biggest impression is that I was blown away by how good a player Orlov is! He was spinning away from hits, shooting, skating, carrying the puck. His breakout is so technically sound. He pulled the Orr(lov) spino-rama before that Marchand goal. Spins out and the puck is on McAvoy's stick so quickly it was hard to see it. Strong lower body. He is so fundamentally sound! He had a heck of a game.

I know the Bruins are up against the cap, but man has he been a huge depth add to the defense. Without Orlov, Gryz is in the lineup, probably next to McAvoy. Wish the Bruins could sign this guy. McAvoy, Lindholm, Orlov. Unreal.

Hey everyone. I haven't posted on this site in a few years. I am a huge Bruins fan, but have been too busy becoming a top level Nickelodeon Brawl player to watch the regular season this year, Plus, it's hard for me to watch the regular season, because with this playoff format, a good seed really only helps you in the first round lol. Anyways, I bought Youtube TV just to watch this Bruins playoff run, and I'm super pumped. I watched Game 1 and it was sooo good to watch hockey again.

Anyways, I was wondering if there's a good Discord server for talking about the NHL and Bruins. I wasn't able to find one, but I'm probably missing something.
