Florida has nothing to lose. Made the playoffs on the second last day, from first (last year) to the second last day this year, Tkachuk this, Tkachuk that. What a great story. They'll play wide open. Beware and play accordingly.
They're playing with house money, that is certainly a factor .PO are a different animal, as long as the Bruins stick to a tight Checking, low risk game they'll be alright.

These predictions are all looking back to that Tampa vs Columbus series.

You think it’s injury, or they just want Forbort and will say the reason is injury?
I think Montgomery is above that. It Wouldn't really be a good look to the rest of your team. Besides Monty has already said Forbort looks rusty, so imo the only way he draws in is if Grizz is injured.

Everyone on the team knows that guys will have to sit so there will be no stomping and being mad about the decision. Bottom line is they have the ability to ice a line that matches up well against their opponent. Also, nothing is permanent so just because someone is out Game 1 doesn't mean they'll be out game 2 onward.
The coaching staff will make the best decision for the team and they've given me no reason to doubt them.

Except "not a big deal" with Bergeron could mean anything from the sniffles to missing limbs and/or organs lol

Based on the practice lines (assuming Bergeron plays)

Marchand-Bergeron-DeBrusk
Bertuzzi-Krejci-Pastrnak
Hall-Coyle-Zacha
Foligno-Nosek-Hathaway

Orlov-McAvoy
Lindholm-Carlo
Forbort-Clifton

Ullmark

I like the balance and chemistry (as long as Zacha shoots every damn puck Hall and Coyle set him up with, that line desperately needs a shooter with those two.)

Based on Monty’s “rust” comments yesterday I’d say there is a fair chance Gryz draws in over Forbort if the coach doesn’t like what he sees from todays practice.

True lol.

I woke up feeling like crap this morning to the point I took a covid test. Negative for it meaning what I have is a combo of allergies and probably a little cold

B's are deep enough to win if he is out for game 1. Wish people would just calm the f*** down and stop with the doom and gloom and we're screwed crap

over under Forbort rimming the puck along boards and turning it over set a 10 for game one.
TBH i feel like Grzy deserves a shot game 1. Having Orlov changes the whole outlooks of the D. There are places to hide for Grzy now.
Forbort can't move the puck on his own. I could see it backfiring. either way I think they'll be fine, but won't be surprised to see Forbort and Cliffy getting hemmed in.

You don’t want Forbort in a series w a team that forechecks like that. He’s too slow and handles the puck like a grenade. Gryz w mcavoy means the panthers will never have the puck in the bruins zone imo
Forbort guards well in front of the net! That’s where the play is going to end up. So… to me start there and work your way out to other things, etc. We can have all our D making nice first passes, transition and retrieve just fine, but then give up softies like we don’t even exist in front of the net, where it becomes a battle, and where boxing out and tying up sticks is crucial, blocking shots, etc. Forbort doesn’t “puck watch” too much out front. He letting the goalie try to make saves and smother the puck. Goalies would rather have D do all this than to pick off passes, etc. To suggest that the play will “never have the puck” in our zone and out front is not realistic. It’s going to happen.
