Pretty good draft so far for us - big LHD, power forward, goalie, and a RHD.

i like that upright skating style on a defenseman, lets you see more things develop

He's clearly moving so I'm not saying this in a bad way but i'm not sure i've ever seen anyone with a shorter stride

I’m quickly doing research but I like his offensive skills. He has a very nice release, looks like he reads the game well offensively (granted it’s highlights) and I really like the composure he shows in using those skills, which is so important in allowing those skills to translate. Nice pick on the face of it.

Seems like a decent draft overall. Pretty balanced. Think the only one that made go "hmm" was the goalie pick, but we'll see.

If Ziemmer becomes a good 3rd line or even an "elite" 4th liner that plays the game the right way, it will be a win. Those guys are going for 1st round picks to contenders at the TDL and God knows this franchise hasn't had a whiff of a player like that in ages.

I am happy that we drafted Hampton Slukynsky on name alone

So the Kings got Dvorak,Ziemmer,Slukynsky,Mania and Romny,who I know Zilch,Nada,Niente about

a lot people had him going in the 1st round

Well maybe not the first but second round for sure...I think the Kings beat the Predators to the punch taking Ziemmer

I dunno. Ziemmer is probably more NHL ready than Dvorak. Don't think he should play in the bottom-six right away, but he is a very good get.

Hopefully Dvorak proves me wrong, but I just have doubt.
The "high light" tapes don't give me much to remove the doubt.
Can't teach size, hoping the rest develops.
Dig the Ziemmer pick.
The rest are fine and hope 1 of them can contribute in the future.
