It really sucks. He spent last season bouncing around and barely playing, and this season looks like it's going down the same path.

Can't develop if you're not playing.

I found these prospects a bit underwhelming since their draft, but OJ’s 0 points in 27 games at SHL over the past few seasons re-affirms my feeling that he doesn’t have NHL potential. Pettersson played 36 games so far and has 3 points in them.

SHL is a low scoring league, but in comparison OP’s teammate of similar age, Adam Engstrom (drafted 3rd round, 2022 by Montreal) has 4 points (2 goals) in 7 games played thus far.

Not holding my breathe on these prospects, Pettersson has shown some good skills so maybe they need to bring him over to Belleville next season for further development.
