Good win - can't really complain. And as I mentioned, probably the best game so far to see a team to go toe-to-toe with.

Glad to see Byfield get a couple more points. Well-deserved.

Kempe went to the dirty area and got a goal out of it. Hopefully he continues to expand his offensive arsenal.

That was as complete a win as you'll ever see. Top unit pp still need work, but wasn't need tonight. The final 2:35 of the 2nd was sheer dominance ; followed by TO getting boo'd off the ice .

I love me some Cam Talbot, but he's a 36 year old goalie. In human years, that's like 82 years old. I'm cheering for him, but them wheels are falling off sooner rather than later.

In the context of a Talbot/Copley pairing? Absolutely. Talbot has had some good games recently, but he's 36, been injured a lot, and Copley is a journeyman. I'll take the good Talbot is giving us now happily, but people should not expect it to continue

That's exactly what I thought of during that shift at the end of the 2nd

I'll admit Englund is growing on me

He suddenly started playing within his means and just making a quick simple pass instead of slapping the puck around and banging it off the glass.

If Englund/Spence can put it together as a pairing we're looking good for spreading out minutes for the marathon that is the season. They're still sort of using them apart a lot and on special teams.
