Best off season plan. Anyone that has connections, please get this to them.The Dallas Stars consistently, have 1-2 draft picks that develop better than expected and then step onto the Stars and overachieve and become impact players. It's their norm. It's freak. Way more than any other team. So? Get their key development guy. Offer him 33% more andthat he will have full control of the AHL and ECHL players. Get one of their top 3 scouts. Try to get him by May, before the draft. Offer him 33% more. This would be better than ANY free agent signing or trade the Kings can make. The development guy will make Helenius an NHL player as soon as next season.He will get Pinelli elevating his game quickly and scoriong 60 pts in the AHL next year.He will get Chromiak, Fagemo and Thomas performing better. Heck, even the 25 yr old college free agent Luke Rowe, become the next Matt Roy. Let him work with Brandt Clarke over the Summer too. Get the new scout meeting with Yannetti and scouts and helping them all with their lists and the prospects they should be watching. Star overachievers: Joe Pavelski done at 35 with the Sharts? H NO., he's still a force with the Stars and has 4, 20+ goal seasons.Matt Duchene? No one will touch him. Overpaid. NO!! On the Stars, he's back on his game, at 33 like he was playing at 25.
