You heard it from Doughty. This is a player problem. Blake and Luc and the rest of the good ol boys network are the problem. We have seen these cracks showing more and more.

It's nothing short of pathological to take the 12th biggest team issue and harp on it like he has 2 own goals per game

No, you are dead wrong. Its the biggest on ice problem the team has - its no secret that they played their best hockey of the year when he was hurt last year.

You cannot win with players who go into business for themselves.

If Todd got fired the first second or third thing a new coach would want is for a player to go in that locker room and light their ass up. So I’m not seeing the problem here.

Well on a positive note we're getting curbed stomped on Friday. If Todd isn't gone, we're at least getting closer.

What do you want him to do? Go punch Fiala? Beat him up?

The only problem I have with doughty's comments are that the thing he's calling out is almost 2 months old. Absolute collapse after taking a lead. He's blaming individual players but when a trend is that explicit, that long-lasting, it is a failure of coaching. If the staff has no effective way to course-correct trends like that then they are BY FAR the issue

If these clowns do have the authority to make a coaching change I'm pretty sure it'll happen tomorrow. And we will hear the spin from Pravda and the rest of the state run media that this amazing roster was just ruined by TM.

But I am still very skeptical that someone who hasn't won dick in almost 7 years as a GM is going to be allowed a 4th coach.

These problems are 90% management and 10% coaching, anybody who thinks TM getting fired is going to fix this terrible roster is going to be greatly disappointed by whatever Chevy era King they bring in to replace him.

Doughty didn't exclude himself. He was blunt, honest, and raw as he usually is. He is trying to put the team first and get everyone on the same page. It's not all on the players and it isn't a sole call-out of Fiala, no one player or thing is sinking this team, it is a large collection of problems and failures and reasons/causes of it are trickling down from the top of the organization down.

After initial reaction I have to agree, no issues with what Doughty said even if he hasn't been the best. He's not throwing players under the bus he's speaking up as a leader in the lockerroom. Something's gotta change and obviously hearing these comments from the coaches isn't getting it done

So he either lit a fire or he broke the room up even more. Either way his leadership has contributed to part of the problem. Too little too late for me.

Its been obvious for f***ing weeks, first thing is first Todd needs to f***ing go already. Its beyond obvious. He's getting way too much leeway for this trash, plus he's the highest paid coach in the league, which is f***ing absurd.
