Kopitar still looks amazing even if he's not in his prime. Leads the team in goals. Love it. That Byfield/Kopi/Juice line is crazy good.

IT's definitely crazy seeing him not be the main puckcarrier on his line, but Byfield and Kempe on his wings is going to extend his effectiveness. Kopi is def slower, but the brain is still there, dude is so so smart positionally.

It's a perfect line combination. Byfield hounds the pucks with speed and Kempe has rounded out his game so much more. Byfield is starting to get his scoring touch going. Can you imagine how scary this line is with him scoring on the regular too? This is easily the most balanced Kings team we have seen since the 2012/2014 Cup playoffs.

JAD did not look bad this game and filled in pretty well - had his chances. I love how they can spread out the ice time so much this year. It's just such a compose team game and everyone is playing for each other.

PLD will go on a heater at some point, but its the general disconnect from the game that has plagued his career. He is a player with a lot, almost too much to prove to be worth anywhere near his contract. You just shouldn't give guys with his motivational issues 8 year deals, especially before he ever sets foot in your organization.

Still think he is best used on the wing. Never found puck handling between the bluelines to be a strength of his game.

100%. He aint doing shit out there that a scuffling player would be doing like some hitting and getting some shots on net. 2 games ago at AZ 4 pim 0 shots on goal 1 hit. Today 2 pims 1 hit and 2 shots. His faceoff pct is about career avg at 46%. Some say FO pct overrated.. but come playoff time its crucial. Im just not sure about this signing at all .. this could easilly make Cal's contract look like a speed bump. He easily end up being a very expensive winger as u suggest since Byfield looks like he has really emerged. You also have Turcotte in the wings.

Highest TOI for any forward is Fiala at 17:16, lowest is JAD at 12:45. That's incredible. Defensemen were pretty balanced too. Let's keep it going tomorrow, Copper!
