The more I watch this team, the more I think they should just stand pat. They don't have much draft capital anyway. But don't trade Ullmark and JDB. Just see how you can do in the POs. They might be able to beat TOR but I dont see them getting past FLA, NYR, CAR or TB.

Then in the offseason, let JDB, Gryz, Forbert walk, re-sign Swayman and see what you can get for Ullmark.
Why hold on to Debrusk and let him walk if they aren’t going anywhere in the playoffs,so just hold on to him to get bye the Leafs ,yeah I hate them also but seems a waste to just beat them.Lol

3rd in the entire league. Horrible. The should sell everyone and start the 15 year rebuild.
No I didn't say that, you guys with the Coyle footy PJ's need to relax. We squeezed every ounce of whatever talent he has this season out of him, congratulations!!

He's still a third line talent that should never take a defensive zone FO when the game is on the line NEVER

To say if it wasn't for him watch the games is one of the dumbest things to say, comical actually. Our goalies say hello.

If you don't think they can go on a run, why stand pat? why not sell and recoup at least a few things for these guys?
I agree somewhat, why let you assets walk for nothing, get something a d-man, even a scoring winger , some physicality , and I am not saying break the bank , try something and give it a ride, address the center position offseason, you try now you will over pay and might not be the best option for that position.

His numbers are already in decline, and all I asked is what is his contract going to look like, and age is part of any deal with any player.

Could his numbers be down because of the talent he's playing with? If you look at just a few seasons ago when he put up 82pts, he played with Gaudreau & Tkachuk. Last year he played with Toffoli & Dube. This year its been Sharangovich, Mangiapane, Garland & Podkolzin.

Career year, good for him, he is a good player but I want no part of his next contract, like said good player but!

On vancouver at least, they've tried him with each of their superstars.

I see Jake as the dividing line.
If you keep him, don't change much and see what happens in the POs.
If you dump him, you are admitting that you won't win and you might as well start retool/rebuild.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the latter, but I don't think Sweeny is going to trade Jake so you might as well just see how it goes. I think this team is slowly on a downward spiral. They have a very shallow prospect pool and no picks (not anyones fault. they went all in last year). And everyone saying the cap is going up, well its going up for every team.

Friedman on SiriusXM NHL radio confirming we're in on Lindholm, if we can extend him.
Mentions deal could be straight BOS-VAN deal or possible 3-way with VAN and PIT.
He also stated he was told by people overnight that it wasn't going to happen and someone this morning also said the same, but Vancouver and Boston has talked about it.

He feels Guentzel will get moved today and the Bruins are in on Zucker and that the leafs are in on any defenseman with a pulse. lol

My dream deadline, watch Don blow us away.

Ullmark+ to Jersey for a 1st
Jersey 1st, Debrusk, + to Calgary for Hanifin
Lysell, 2 2nds, Beecher to Van for Lindholm
3rd for bottom 6 grit.
Gryz, Ullmark, Debrusk gone

My annual trade deadline proposal:

Ullmark, 2nd for Meier 25% retained

Lohrei, Merkulov, Gryz for Chychrun 25% retained

Debrusk, Beecher for Lindholm

2nd for Duhaime

Is Meier in NJ in the same boat as Lindholm is in Vancouver? Buyers regret?

Zacha Lindholm Pasta

Marchand Coyle Meier

JVR Geekie Frederic

Lauko Boqvist Duhaime

McAvoy Lindholm

Carlo Chychrun

Wotherspoon Shattenkirk

Forbort

Swayman

Bussi

Reminds me of Bergeron

when you are always picking late you need to hit on stuff like this

If their scouts like him I’m in

he’s playing wing he’s a center

Marchand - Lindholm - DeBrusk
Heinen - Zacha- Pastrnak
Frederic- Coyle - Geekie

Donny here’s your blueprint

You’re welcome
Except I would think JDB is going back in the trade, no? Could it be Linus?

As we approach deadline day, the Bruins are in the mix for one of the NHL’s top trade targets. According to Pierre LeBrun, the Bruins are among the many clubs that have “checked in on” Anaheim Ducks forward Adam Henrique. LeBrun also listed the Edmonton Oilers, New York Rangers, and Vegas Golden Knights as current suitors for the veteran.
For sure and I also think he's sending a message to a few smucks who probably tried to pull the wool over his eyes.
