Not necessarily a ringing endorsements.

You're right. Two different players. But getting the same treatment from fans. I wouldn't hate it, but I'd definitely be leery of it.

Maybe some Flames fans on this site but I live in Calgary and know alot of Flames fans who really liked him.He is not flashy but gets in right spots .He would work nice with Marchand I bet and best of all push Coyle back to 3rd line centre.I like Zacha better with Pasta but that is Montys decision cause I am stuck here on the sofa

Nucks fans are not liking his play or effort. Can't say we heard his name much when he played us. I hope he's not on the decline because just a few years ago he was money.

I think above everything else Lindholm would provide stability at the dot and neutral zone and not being a complete plug receiving passes from Pasta, three things Coyle and Zacha struggle with some nights.

Isn’t Lindholm basically a second line center thought to be in decline? We need a center badly, but I would be very hesitant to give up our prospects for a 30 year old. We aren’t going very far this year so why not sell and add over the summer?

Everything I have read and have seen with my own eyes leads me to compare Lindholm with Bergeron, a lesser version. He is right-handed, similar size and plays the same way, not flashy, but efficient ìn all 3 zones and good on Faceoff's. Like Bergeron I think he will age well as he dosen't rely on speed. Would be a great acquisition if Sweeney can get him to agree to a new contract.

Why haven't things worked out in Vancouver? Some here have intimated that he was not playing well in Calgary, either.

Taylor Hall wasn't working out well in Buffalo either and he came here and was a totally different player. Sometimes players are just a bad match with certain teams styles of play
