I hope if it is true, that he has been called up, I hope nothing but the best for the kid, personally, I think he might not be ready, and for all those calling for size and physicality this is not your answer. when you have Poitras back, Merk, Loheri, Mitchell, I am not sure this team is any better. Unless they are being showcased. I have been in favor of implementing youth and size in this lineup for dome time, but this seems extreme for me. Is this team in rebuild mode? I am not sure that is the way to go, but if that is the case, why sign McAvoy and Pasta to those contracts, because you are wasting their peak years, and I am sure they will not be happy.

I'm not sure if it's been posted yet but there's a great story out there about Lauko and Swayman getting stuck in an old elevator to visit Shattenkirk on Christmas and they had to be resuced by the fire department. Lauko said Swayman was crying a little so he gave Sway a goalie hug 😂

I imagine they have called him up. They sure could use an injection of talent. However they may have changed their minds, who knows?

He did not impress me in camp/preseason. He looked like a high level Ahler trying to play a grinding game that did not suit him in order to make it. He has to try a play a more relaxed game and develop his skills imo.

Tyson jost on waivers only 25 is he truly bust material?

No dig on Jost, but this is the type of player that kills teams. He's a high pick and teams just keep playing him banking on him one day realizing his potential. The problem is that, in the meantime, you have a player on your roster that is completely ineffective. In Jost's case, that is now 442 games.

Jost is a textbook example of why players should not be rushed into the NHL. He should have played 2 years at North Dakota and then 2 years in the AHL. There's no guaranty that would have made him a good NHL player, but he would have had a better chance and at least there would be a proper diagnosis of where he leveled out.

I’ve seen people slotting Merkulov in with Pasta and Zacha.

Normally I’d be against that (a lot of pressure to produce) but with his skill set and the inconsistency from much of the top 6- id love to see it.

I sure hope this is the case. I mean either there or with Marchy and Debrusk. I just hope they didn't call him up to shelter his minutes and play him on the 3rd and 4th line. His biggest assets is his offensive skill.
