23/24 Filmon has 2.53 shots per game and a 15.7 sh%
22/23 Filmon had 3.2 shots per game and a 22.8 sh%

Disappointing start to the season. He is playing LW this season with Gould and Laventure. Gould had 4 points in 64 games last year.

Thought I'd read on here that he is playing C, at least sometimes - that would explain the reduced shot volume and increased assists, I think.

They moved Filmon back to wing.

Here’s his lines and scoring for the season, he’s been on a bunch of lines, partly due to multiple injuries to linemates.

.907 isn't @Bleedred approved. We may just have to get Blackwood back.
That number could be good in that league. I’m not quite sure.

That’s slightly better than league average in the NHL these days though.

But like 6-10 years ago that’s like declining Cory Schneider numbers and poor, and 12 years ago that’s like declining Brodeur numbers and poor.

and then there are fantastic numbers like Blackwood's last night. I mean you did always tell us he was really a .951 goalie and that we'd all eat crow. It turns out you were right. I'd like mine barbecued low and slow with some Memphis style sauce and make sure it has bite through skin.

Ah, Dark Hoarse.... if he only waited a bit to record it
He would have had to wait quite a while though. His voice was shot throughout that tour and the vocal was recorded just before the tour started. He brought out the album before the end of the year. The timing was just awful and a shame.

Shlaine had a hat trick Friday and a 2 assist game Saturday. I've noticed he's pretty good in the faceoff dot too.

Salminen had a PP goal Saturday.

Cole Brown scored a penalty shot goal and had a secondary assist last night.

Nothing too much to report on Hurtig or Leddy.

Casey had an assist and 6 shots in Michigan's 3 to 2 shootout win.

Honestly, did we really need to know that about Filmon?

Filmon had a primsry assist last night in Swift Current's 6 to 4 win.

Squires had a goal , was -1 , 2 PIM (tripping) and 7 shots in Cape.Brenton's 4 to 2 loss last night.

Cole Brown had the primary assist on the game winning goal in the Bulldogs 2-1 win. Had 1 shot. 2 PIM and was a +/-0.

Josh Filmon has 1 goal , 1 primary assist , 4 PIM , was a +2 with 3 shots in the Broncos 5 to 2 win.

Samu Salminen has 1 assist (primary) , 2 shots , was a +/- 0 and won 7 of 13 faceoffs and UConn's 5 to 4 overtime loss.

Charlie Leddy had 1 secondary assist and was +1 in BC's 5 to 4 overtime win.

Seamus Casey had 1 secondary assist , was +/- 0 , had 5 shots and 2 PIM in Michigan's 6 to 4 win.

I was at the BC vs UCONN game and it was a good one. Salminen was somewhat noticeable and almost had a powerplay goal he kind of fanned on with a wide open net on a cross crease pass. He is deployed as 2nd line player from what I saw.

Also if you are ever in Boston check out a game at BC. It's a really nice arena , the campus here is beautiful too.

I wish I had time to check out the campus before I went in 2019 but had weather delays with my flight. One way Uber cost more than my first row ticket. I caught the game when Wisconsin was in town. Caufield/Turcotte/Boldy/Newhook were fresh off being drafted in the first round. Wisconsin also had Dylan Holloway in his draft year so there were lots of scouts around. Spotted David Conte and got a picture with him.

That's funny because I spotted Conte when I went to thr Bruins new practice facility today. Was killing time before the BU game and it's only like a mile and a half away from their arena. I went there and winded up watching some prep school hockey with a Flames scout until I saw Conte and went over to day hello to him. He was nice and looked genuinely happy that a fan noticed who he was lol.

I wish I went to the arena earlier because the Bruins were celebrating their 100 year anniversary tonight and it was against the Habs so they brought in alot of their legends. They were doing media at the practice facility and Bobby Orr was there. A fan outside the rink winded up getting his autograph and told me he was there earlier...would of been a good one to get for the collection.

Cam Squires had 1 goal (a one timer with 2 and a half minutes left in the 3rd period) , 1 primary assist , 3 shots , 1 hit , was a +2 and went 4 for 6 in faceoff dot in Cape Brenton's 3-0 win.

Cole Brown had 1 goal , 1 secondary assist , 2 shots , 2 PIM and was a +1 in Brantford's 6 to 3 win last night.

Josh Filmon had 2 goals (a one timer finish on a cross crease feed and the other an empty netter) , 1 primary assist (a no look back hand feed right into the slot after dangling a defender wide) , was a +4 , with 5 shots and went 0 for 3 in the faceoff dot in Swoft Current's 6 to 3 win.

Artem Shlaine , 1 goal , -2 , 4 shots and 10 for 22 on the faceoff dot in North Michigan's 6 to 2 loss.

Cole Brady cams on in relief for UMASS Amherst stopping all 7 shots he faced in 23 minutes and 29 seconds of icetime to help UMASS win 6 to 5

Seamus Casey had 1 secondary assist and was a +1 in Michigan's 2 to 0 win.

Very nice.
