Yikes on the votes for Auston Matthews btw. Not to say he didn’t deserve to finish top 5, but to have 35 voters want have him 1st or 2nd is pretty laughable.

If MacK fanboys think he got robbed when he finished in a 3 way tied for 9th in goals, 11th in assists, and 5th in points on the way to the final wildcard spot....well lets just say we will be hearing about the Kucherov robbery of 2024 for a very, very long time.
Lol. He was tied first in PPG though, and much higher than Hall.

It doesn’t have to be robbery for people to think he should have won. Not every difference of opinion needs to be dramatic

Pretty shocked to see McDavid with only one first place vote.

I'll say this - if McDavid's name had been John Smith (ie 0 track record) I think there's a strong chance he would have won. It's a hell of an in-season turnaround he led the Oilers to.

And to clarify - I don't think McDavid should have won - he rightfully places #3. I just expected more #1 votes
McDavid should have won....he is the MVP of the NHL....

The mere mention of saying someone 'deserved' to win a trophy 6 years ago demonstrates a strong difference of opinion.

If you didn't think he was easily the best player on the Avs this year I would question if you watched a single game.
Makar was great, even if not up to what Avs fans expected. Rantanen's season was a total mirage, he was bad despite piling up points.

Too bad you weren’t voting. It would have brought McDavid’s 1st place votes up to…..

Wow. Imagine the Lightning without Kucherov and they fall to the bottom of the division IMO.

Don't gotta act like Lightning have a AHL team around Kucherov to pump his tires. They have Point, Hedman, Stamkos, Vasi, Hagel, Paul, Sergachev, and more... they would do just fine. The Islanders and Capitals made the playoffs this year ffs
