I've not watched as many games as I'd like yet, conflicts.

How have the giveaways (decision making) been? I've always thought that when those dropped a hair, he'd go from Pasta status to like, Jagr status.

His face and body language suggest that it's very possible baby #2 has drained Pasta of some of his juice to start the year. Doesn't seem to have the same jump as last year, especially with the puck, but he's such a scoring dynamo that he still manages a way to score 4 goals in 5 games.

JD Drew’s look and body language was like he could be back at the farm instead of hitting a grand slam in the ALCS.

In short. It means nothing

:( Have you joined the Pasta haters?
He is the only high skill guy on the team, so naturally any opposing team is going try to take his time and space away.
So he has to make quicker decisions with the puck, which lead to a turnover.
Also any player like him will have possession of the puck more often than others, so more chances of turnovers.
So why hate him or his game?

I don't hate Pasta , but he has spread some of the hate away from Carlo an Monty , Sweeney and Rask.

Who's next on the hit list ? Maybe a most hated thread with a vote.

Is it the turnovers or the general lack of effort/intensity?

Marchand was lackluster. Got blasted. Improved.

Maybe Monty is trying the same thing with Pasta.

I don’t think it’s hate saying he’s terrible at giveaways it’s just a fact he lead the league last year with 98 and is top 5 again this year with 23 and he plays basically 2 minutes less then any other player in the top 10

It’s probably his biggest downfall but this doesn’t mean he’s not an excellent player

Obviously, Pasta is their best offensive player.

I like him as a person, teammate and player.

Even so, if he cannot learn a two-way, three zone game stapled to Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand - two of the greatest all around players to ever skate in the NHL - for several seasons, I don't know what to tell you.

I would like to thank David takes all aspects of his game seriously.

It may be, however, that he is one of those players whose defensive shortcomings must be accepted concurrent with his offensive gifts.

Maybe that's just the way it's going to be going forward.
