Bit of a bummer prospect report month for us from elite prospects.

Every month they go through every major feeder league and identify a couple prospects who are trending up, treading water, or trending down.

Notably, we had five prospects with writeups this month, I think most of any team, but three were noted as trending down (gaucher in the AHL, port in the WHL, and Warren in the Q).

Two guys were highlighted as trending up; Olen in the AHL and hotrod in the OHL.
Pretty accurate assessment by EP...

Kind of seems on par with my observations as well

PV says on Ducks Stream he’s been in talks with and plans to sign Gauthier and Colangelo but thinks Moore is likely returning to school
Moore could use it, he’s had a step back this year alongside the Harvard team in general.

Moore lost a lot of development with his injury this season. I think it's good that Moore returns to school even though it could lead to him becoming an UFA.

During Dev camp in the summer, Moore looked fast. We need that speed on the blueline and he's more known to being a shutdown guy.

RW Callow is having a surprising season with Harvard. In his first 11 games, Callow scored 0g +2a and a +0 rating. In his last 18 games since the new year started, Callow has scored 3g + 9a and a +1 rating. Callow is currently one of three players on the team with a zero or positive rating. That coincides with his line getting more minutes as they got promoted from the 3rd line to the 2nd line.

A bit self serving here, but I made this prediction in the prospect polls last year, I had a feeling Callow would be able to work his way up Harvards rather barren forward core and put together a decent season.

It didn't look like it to start the season as I was tracking all of our prospects weekly. I hope he takes the second half confidence to work harder in the off-season to make a bigger splash offensively.

On a Harvard tangent, Verbeek said that Moore is returning for his senior season. That means he'll might still be captain next season. It'll be easier to track both of them since they're playing on the same team next year.

Cutter's current pace compared to the goal scoring leader from each of the previous ten NCAA seasons.

Over the past 30 seasons going back to 1994-95, the highest goal total is shared by a few different guys at 38 goals.

Gauthier GP 34 G 32

How has Hellesen looked? Do we see him on this d-core any time soon?

We really need some of these guys to take a big step next year

Here’s to hoping that with the 7 draft picks that they have in the first three rounds this year, they can use them and draft players instead of trading them off. We need help everywhere.
