B-Sens 2023-24 Belleville Senators

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Yeah could be.
Or on the wing with Halliday at 4c
Reinhardt has 26 pts compared to Jenik who has 23 pts, not really sure who would be a better fit in Ott, but in our viewings Reinhardt seems to have had slightly more impact in the few views we have had, but they seem to be very close in all areas & Jenik can play both C & LW. I would much prefer these three over the 4th line we have now. However, Belleville likely needs these guys for their playoff push, they might come up as part of the black aces once their season ends if the Sens are still in the playoffs. I expect Davies & Guennette could be part of that as well.

Roster Notes:

The Senators had a handful of players on the injured list at the end of last weekend, but Head Coach Dave Bell says there could be some reinforcements coming tonight. Forward Wyatt Bongiovanni could return this weekend, after missing the last eight games due to injury. The 25-year-old from Birmingham, Michigan also missed a stretch due to injury at the start of the season, but has still collected 26 points (18 goals, eight assists) this season. While Bongiovanni could come back, Sens fans likely won’t see defenders Filip Roos and Donovan Sebrango, forward Jamieson Rees, or goaltender Mads Sogaard. You can click here for a full list of up-to-date transactions, with full lineup details ahead of game time via the Belleville Sens social channels (@BellevilleSens).

Who to Watch:

On one of their most consistent offensive stretches of the season, eight Senators players had points in both games last weekend, including Jan Jenik (one goal, seven assists), Wyatte Wylie (one goal, three assists), Jeremy Davies (two goals, one assist), Xavier Bourgault (two goals, one assist) and others. Stephen Halliday had two assists and is one helper behind Logan Brown for third on Belleville’s rookie-assists list, while Max Guenette scored twice last weekend and has seven points (four goals, three assists) over his last six games.

Toronto was shutout against Charlotte in its last matchup, so no Marlies are bringing point streaks into CAA Arena tonight. Defender William Villeneuve had seven assists over a four-game point streak that was snapped on Wednedsay, while Alex Steeves had five shots on net in Toronto’s last game, though he hasn’t found the scoresheet in his last two games. Steeves is among the league’s top point getters (51) and is tied for first in AHL goal-scoring (33) with Texas’ Matej Blumel.

I doubt he'd be claimed and if we worry about losing him we are in trouble
As nondescript as he's been lately, he is still at best 3 forward injuries away from a spot in the lineup.

I think its something to consider. Our organizational depth has come a long way since the Dorion years but it is still far from good enough.
