ok so what is your point? Our coaching at both levels is optimal and it's not anyone's fault?

What a 7 years rebuild organization should be doing right now?
It was obviously coaching in Edmonton.

I think Belleville are pretty much performing to their talent level. They won a few games at the start of the season when Sogaard was giving them elite goaltending, but they just don't have near enough talent to compete in the AHL.

They pretty much can't score at all at 5-on-5 and that dates back to at least last season when Troy Mann was still coaching them. We're 16 games into the season and look...

Sokolov - 0 goals at 5-on-5
Smejakl - 1 goal at 5-on-5 [only technically though because it was scored in a 6-on-5 extra attacker scenario]
Guenette - 0 goals at 5-on-5 [his even strength goal came at 4-on-4]
Reinhardt - 1 goal at 5-on-5
Jarventie - 0 goals at 5-on-5 [only 6 games]
Highmore - 1 goal at 5-on-5 [only 9 games]
Ostapchuk - 1 goal at 5-on-5 [plus 1 shorthanded]
Larsson - 0 goals at 5-on-5 [both his even strength goals were in 3-on-3 OT]
Thomson - 0 goals at 5-on-5 [1 goal at 4-on-4]
Matinpalo - 0 goals at 5-on-5

Wild.

Injuries at the NHL level affect injuries at the AHL level, and the AHL team has additional injuries of its own to deal with. It's just too much.

4 out of our current bottom 6 at the NHL level should normally be playing in Belleville.

At the same time it's pretty normal, our expectations are way too high. It's not because you rebuild for 7 years that your AHL team should be any good.

It's not like Dorion had any say in this, not his fault!

lol not even one month, we're going to feel the effects of his incompetence for years

Example? We are most likely going to forfeit our 1st round pick in 2026.

Better start accepting it because you're not going to be left in peace on this subject and not just by me.

Boucher with a goal and assist. Don’t know why people are complaining.
