My prediction is that, as low as the expectations are for the Sharks this coming season, half the board will still find reasons to complain after every game.
Juicy to Washington was the rumor over the summerWhat rumor did i miss?
I disagree you can never have too many prospects. Most prospects won't make it so my mentality is get as many dart throws as possible and see what sticks. Trade down as much as possible.Trading up clearly.
Sharks have too many prospects as is. Whatever they’d get with NJD 1st they can pick up in FA.
Only half?My prediction is that, as low as the expectations are for the Sharks this coming season, half the board will still find reasons to complain after every game.
I predict Hoffman will be mid and one of the AHLers will go PPG and we'll complain about why Hoffman is still playing over themMy prediction is that, as low as the expectations are for the Sharks this coming season, half the board will still find reasons to complain after every game.
I’m kinda looking forward to seeing how Zadina plays this season. He has the potential to break out with the change of scenery
And that’s how you end up with 23 Nick Boninos.I disagree you can never have too many prospects. Most prospects won't make it so my mentality is get as many dart throws as possible and see what sticks. Trade down as much as possible.

Prototypical Garbage Tier Grier player, he likes guys who mirror his careerThe most he's scored in the AHL is 14 points in 59 games in 18-19, so probably just AHL depth.

I demand someone run this simulation immediatelyAnd that’s how you end up with 23 Nick Boninos.
I mean it would be nice to actually get the first overall for the first time in franchise history. Get a Macklin or EsiermanEspecially after wins. String a few wins together and half the board will melt down about draft positioning.
Explains why he signed Zadina.Prototypical Garbage Tier Grier player, he likes guys who mirror his career
Seriously, why isn't Grier signing superstars to AHL-only contracts instead? Can we fire him already?Prototypical Garbage Tier Grier player, he likes guys who mirror his career
If the team can somehow find another Mike Grier off the garbage heap then he deserves credit.Prototypical Garbage Tier Grier player, he likes guys who mirror his career
I'm so excited for it to be January and Hoffman has like 10 points but gets in the lineup most nights while either Eklund/Gushchin are still in the AHL lolMy prediction is that, as low as the expectations are for the Sharks this coming season, half the board will still find reasons to complain after every game.
I think there's a pretty big difference between playing Hoffman over Eklund and playing Hoffman over Gushchin.I'm so excited for it to be January and Hoffman has like 10 points but gets in the lineup most nights while either Eklund/Gushchin are still in the AHL lol
How many cups did Bonino win? Players like Bonino have value and teams are bad at scouting and developing 18 year olds. Give me as many lottery tickets as possible to find Bonino and Pavelski, Braun, etc.And that’s how you end up with 23 Nick Boninos.
Well considering all those guys with exception to Smith careers are actually worse then Griers and are in fact trash. I’d say I’m not to far off, the sharks will be lucky if Smith pans out to be as good as David Legwand which isn’t a huge leap above peak Grier.“He likes guys who mirrored his career” explains why he drafted Will Smith, signed Zadina, traded for Duclair…All mirror images of Mike Grier.
Tell me how many cups those guys were main pieces of.How many cups did Bonino win? Players like Bonino have value and teams are bad at scouting and developing 18 year olds. Give me as many lottery tickets as possible to find Bonino and Pavelski, Braun, etc.
I don't think so. Eklund might be considered more guaranteed of a NHLer but playing Hoffman over Gushchin is equally as ridiculous.I think there's a pretty big difference between playing Hoffman over Eklund and playing Hoffman over Gushchin.
Bonino played a major role in PIT beating SJ. So, that's at least one.Tell me how many cups those guys were main pieces of.
You think he did? I’d argue he was the third best player on his line and it wasn’t particularly close.I don't think so. Eklund might be considered more guaranteed of a NHLer but playing Hoffman over Gushchin is equally as ridiculous.
