I predict a big Detroit victory tonight. I thought Detroit might eek out a win before but now that Toronto is going to be shorthanded because of their deal with the Knicks I think Detroit will win by about 15 points.

Awful game from Brown,as is often the case when there is talent challenging him on the other side. The point guards and Tatum weren't good either......=Big loss.

You know before each game whether or not Jaylen Brown is going to be good or total ass
Why is that? Out of genuine curiosity. I watch the games here and there but not enough to get to grasp the smaller things.
OKC are a very good team, sometimes the opponent plays a better game.
Too many people sleeping on the Thunder. They are going to be trouble for the western teams

Because he actually sucks and people just think he’s good because he drops 40 against terrible teams and does really cool dunks sometimes

Jaylen Brown does not suck, don't be ridiculous.
Is he inconsistent? Sure, but outside of the top 10 players in the league, who isn't?
I'd argue he's actually having his best year as a pro, because he's playing the team game more consistently.
The hate boner people have for all things Jaylen Brown borders on absurd.

And for the record, that loss is more on Mazzulla playing double big lineups with Kornet/Al and Pritchard getting absolutely dominated than anything Brown did/didn't do

The game is on the line and you need a big shot or god forbid a free throw and Brown is taking it. How comfortable do you feel? Dude can’t even bring the ball up against pressure and he’s a max player. This team will be better when he f***s off to go be the #1 in some city that doesn’t care
Jaylen just dominated the month of December. I think it’s insane to think they’d be better off without him at this point. He’s been a key part of their torrid stretch and has good chemistry with KP

Who are you trading for to upgrade from him?
He's a top 3 SG in the league whether you like it or not.
They are worse off without him.
I have been on Jaylen's case while he is having a good month after the criticism of him. However, it is up to Mazzulla to pull him when he does stupid stuff or has his off night or his period of COLD.
He doesn't need to take 18 shots when it is his off night. He was 4 of 18 shots, Mazzulla yanks him if he can't control himself from shooting and should pass. He was 0 of 8 from the 3s.
At times Brown is Boston's biggest liability when shooting the highest volume and low percentage.
When it is not his night, he must set his ego aside and pass to others or Mazzulla has to be the coach to take him out of that game.
We can't go into another playoff season with Brown being a question mark as to his performance in a game.
The Last banner #17 was from 2008. We have had enough of Tatum & Brown with no number 18. The Celtics have given them enough change and support for this season to get #18.
No banner, no excuses, one of the two must go and it shouldn't be Jason Tatum.
I am hopefully going to get off his case and hope he is a team contributor towards winning.

There are LOTS of things I think we should criticize Jaylen for, but he was our best player in the Finals and it's absurd to act like they can't win anything with him. If they hold on in Game 4 they probably win the title and he takes home the MVP.
