2 goals last night by Zegras and Beadard where the player lifts puck on stick and carries it before stuffing it over goalies shoulder into top corners. That to me takes skill but should be outlawed by NHL.Its a play where the D man has to crack his stick to get puck to fall off & with sticks today there are good odds the stick breaks and you get 2 mins or he scores.Anyhow, cute plays but not a fan of it.

I don’t think it needs to be outlawed, just don’t call penalties if something happens to their stick in the process
That's fair to as long as everyone on board.Thing is, that will create some loons with no stick control swinging them like a viking lol

Marchand should try thar move more. That window is open.

I DVR'd a few games to watch over the break, so I've been away from this thread, so as not to learn the outcomes. Turns out it didn't matter. ;)

I've been appalled by the Bruins' unfocused play 6-on-5; but Nashville took it to a whole other level; winning by one with 14 seconds left, and lose in regulation. The B's at least have the dignity the maintain the loser point. The Preds completely checked out for the face-off after the tying goal and it cost them. I was very happy for Craig Smith, who got the tying goal and screened Soros on the game-winner. DeBoer is using him in high-leverage situations.

The Stanley Cup rematch between the Knights and Panthers didn't disappoint. Despite Keegan Kolesar having a significant size advantage, Ryan Lomberg exacted payback for the sternum-breaking hit on Matthew Tkachuk; felled him with one punch. Lots to admire about Florida.

I found Sean Avery's YouTube channel on my sidebar. Is it performance art? Is he that good of an actor? I hear people complain the NHL lacks personality; he's definitely got that, but he wouldn't last long on a mainstream outlet.

That Nashville loss was baaaad lol.

And Smitty against his old team

See in NFLD Labrador they stopped post game handshakes in minors leagues over suspensions players and coaches been getting.. .I love it myself there is no need after every game to do that. Now a 4 out of 7 series I am on board but not every game.

The NHL hates personality for the most part. They hate it and they hate controversy. Don Cherry, Milbury etc can attest to that. Avery will be the next one to say the wrong thing since that's who he is and he'll be gone. NHL should loosen up and let the animosity flow.

they should make a rule. Too many players can easily do that. I know when i played inline there was a rule you couldnt toe the puck because the puck had that concave area on the top and bottom where the toe of the blade would fit right in, and you could toe the puck all over the ice.

It wasn’t personality that got Cherry and Milbury canned.
