Prospect Info: [2023 - 165th] Filip Eriksson (Allsvenskan - Nybro Vikings IF)

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Eriksson seems to be really struggling to produce in the SHL so far. I'd have expected a harder year but it's a pretty far drop off in production even with the promotion in leagues, I wonder if he's injured.

Not injured just a bit snakebit. He's had chances. It's a jump, he's learning. Kapanen had a similar experience.

As of today, Eriksson has 1 goal and 1 assist in 22 games in SHL. Last year, he got 0g 6a in 29gp in SHL. At a certain time, I thought he's a decent pick.

He's still a decent pick, at the Champions league level he's productive.. but a lot of the games lately he has been 4th line or an extra forward. He's going to have to get stronger this off-season because the smarts and skills are good.

I personally don’t see it with him but I’m not hard line about it. Still solid production last year for where he was picked.

Not hating the pick at all. If he can really work on his skating there could be something there

Pretty disappointing season for Eriksson. I thought the Habs might have found something there, with missing so much of his draft year with an injury.

We still could have found something, he wouldn't be the first teenager to struggle with the size and strength of grown men when playing a full season against them.
