hard to say as I haven't gotten to see much of him. I wanted us to draft him as I think you need players like him in the later rounds, he works hard, goes to the net and seems to have some hands. I've had issues with the skating/speed but once he's in Laval we should start to have a clearer picture.

Interesting. I watched Harris at last fall’s rookie camp and thought he was one of the better skaters among the players attending the camp. If anything, in my opinion, it will be Harris’ skating ability that affords him the best chance of making the NHL.

Skating has always been his most obvious weakness.

He looks to have improved a little but I would need to watch him more closely

What do you think his ultimate upside could be if all things went right?

It's always difficult to predict how the potential of these under-sized scoring forward will translate in the pros.

Being drafted in the fifth round, having that kind of progress and being a sure-shot to have a pro contract is already a big positive.

While being tied at the 8th rank for goals scored at 22 right now. His ice time is the lowest amongst the top goal scorers at 15:33 min/game being deployed on the second line and top powerplay. He could be higher on the stats sheet if deployed on the first line but it is what it is.

We already know he has a pro shot and a nose for the net, it will depend on how the rest of his game translate and develop.

As far as his upside goes, I'm fairly confident he'll be a dominant scoring forward at the ahl level like a Daniel Carr/Daniel Sprong at the very least and could be a middle-six scoring forward at the NHL at best, second wave of the powerplay on a strong habs team, a Kyle Palmieri-type maybe?.
