Jays have a pretty good bullpen too though.

Romano, Mayza, Garcia, and Phelps all have a 2-something ERA, Bass has a 1.36 ERA, and Cimber/Pop both have a low 3 ERA. In the playoffs, we'll also be using Mitch White out of the pen too who has a 3-something ERA

It's not the weak pen we saw last year that's for sure. The Jays weakness this year has been inconsistent hitting among some of the guys in the heart of the order (Bo/Teo) and the starters having some really bad starts on a rather frequent basis (Berrios/Kikuchi)

Interesting of note is they released the schedule for the playoffs a while ago and for the ALCS the only off day is between games 2 and 3. So games 3 to 7 are 5 games in a row. You might need Mitch White to start a game 7 if it got there, though in a game 7 situation it's all hands on deck so someone on short rest is probably likely. That's different than the usual schedule

That's back to back starts with double digit Swinging Strike % (14.7% vs Yanks, 17.2% tonight). He has only done that one other time this year (July vs PHI and KC)

Trouts prime was from 2012-2020.
Now he’s a walking injuring bug, I hope he gets the treatment to fix himself.

Ohtani I think is gone this off-season.
