I have been patient with this team a lot but they have not shown up on this road trip at all. It all started with that party in Tampa the previous Sunday evening. They are way too casual. This is supposed to be a “business trip”. Nobody seems to really give a crap except maybe Manoah and Gausman.

I have been patient with this team a lot but they have not shown up on this road trip at all. It all started with that party in Tampa the previous Sunday evening. They are way too casual. This is supposed to be a “business trip”. Nobody seems to really give a crap except maybe Manoah and Gausman.

It’s not a business trip, they’re playing baseball. Wearing shorts on the airplane has nothing to do with performance in Baltimore.

Baltimore hasn’t been that weak though since June. One of the better teams in the league IIRC with a .627 win percentage.

Unfortunately this was supposed to be a nice soft spot in what’s been a tough schedule for the Jays this year. But of course they have to catch the O’s when they’re playing like a division contender.

that is the difference between being a Yankees/ Astros/Dodgers team vs the Jays. It's a festival every game in the dugout and the Latins guys are laughing it up hanging out at the end of the dugout.

I might sound like a Don Cherryesque takes but there is no business-like feel to this team and it shows in efforts on some nights.

I'm not saying they need to stop laughing and stuff but they need to understand this is a job and results matter. Pissing away games like the past few nights really end up costing teams at the end of the season as we saw last year.

Yimi Garcia doesn't even sit in the dugout, ffs. The offence scored 5 runs, that should win you most baseball games. But ya, the Latin guys laughing is the real problem.

The team is just missing pieces. So it's going to be up and down up and down like last year. Team is missing a 8th or 9th inning pitcher. Team is missing a 1st or 2nd starter. Team is missing a Springer who can play more games. I know lot of people liked what was done at the deadline but none of the trades address the real needs of the team. It's a skilled team so they'll win more than they lose but the holes will show from time to time.

I disagree with missing 1st or 2nd starter. Manoah and Gausman are a terrific one 2 punch. I don’t know what more do you expect? And Berrios is a terrific #3 that is having a down year.
