The situation he's in he was stuck yes. Leaving Borucki in was the right call. However he brings this on himself pulling starters who are pitching well too early, having a guy come in with 2 outs throwing 4 pitches to get 1 out and then going with a fresh arm the next inning, and using Romano with a 4 run lead on Thursday and again yesterday when he needed rest, causing you to have to use Stripling.

He needs to figure out how to manage the pen because he's bad at it and forcing himself to use Borucki today is partly his fault with how he burns through arms.
