Leafs are atleast perrenial playoff appereance champs. Jays haven't shown they are even that yet.Jays are becoming chokers like the Leafs
So much talent, just not good when it matters
Well they did in one of the innings but then hit into DPok vlady let's get the leadoff runner on base.
That too this is the best I’ve ever seen the young man pitch. This is what the Mariners wanted when they traded for him
Reality is you need to pay up to get great players. Jays didn't want too and it looks like a bad call. Still early thoughReds probably wanted Moreno if the Jays were going to get him. Don't know if he is that good, even given what he's doing tonight.
Obviously not the playoff debut Manoah (or us) wanted but they all gotta start and learn somewhere.
If he pitches a second game this postseason I expect him to be better

Totally. Hindsight is always 20/20, but I think it was a mistake giving him game one. Too much hype surrounding the game and it would have been better for the team to have somebody more seasoned take the mound.
Berrios was a good #2 before this season. If they we were okay paying for Berrios, they should have been okay paying for Castillo. Whatever it's done. They made their decision but will they change their TD approach if it's a short playoffs is the question. But he wasn't that great, he was basically another Berrios.
True, but at the same time guys like Manoah are made for moments like this.
He was the guy who got you here, he's the guy who leads you in.
Also starting him in a potential elimination game 2 doesn't do him any favors either so I'm not sure the Jays had a good option either way.
