Common sense rule for me on this one

If you walk Vlad to get to Kirk and you lose you put your hands up. You pitch to Vlad and its dumb.

That being said nice to see the Jays win a managerial battle considering Charlie probably would've summoned Trent Thornton from his offseason to pitch to Judge.

I think overall we do need to give Vladdy a break sometimes. The man still has 30 bombs and 91 RBI. We sometimes expect too much from these young athletes. Maybe next year he will be back at 170 or 180 WRC+, but he still had a good season in 2022.

So many butthurt Yankee fans. Love it

The butthurt is now escalating... Ump Scorecard posted the game by Laz Diaz now. Remember that slider where Judge got called out on strikes and was clearly low based on the TV box?

The Scorecard has it as a strike i.e. correct call and they get their data from MLB. So one of following things is correct, and I'm sure no one will complain

1. The TV boxes are not an accurate representation of the strike zone.
2. MLB's pitch tracking system was incorrect.

Conclusion: The technology for robot umpires isn't ready.

Honestly, a good finish to the season for Berrios is right there near the top of the list of reasonable things I want to see down the stretch.

1. Finish in WC1.
2. Get some good starts from our SP, especially Berrios who hopefully sees playoff action.
3. Get Springer feeling healthy and rested so he can start in CF all playoffs.

What am I missing?

I think Judge hits 61 tonight against Berrios unfortunately. Possibly 62 as well.

Also Cleveland 9-1 in their last 10 but watch them lose all their games against the Rays coming up. Just because it’s the Rays.

I'd almost be surprised if Judge didn't homer off Berrios.

You only need 1 more out, any hit is likely a run and there are 2 open bases. What about walking both Vladdy and Kirk to face Chapman? Only added downside is a walk now scores a run as does an infield hit.

Fly balls to center are so deceptive because you don't really see the angle of the ball off the bat. I didn't think that was even close to gone
