If the Rangers were gonna win, these last 2 games were the games to do it. Had them on the ropes in the 1st and only got 2 runs, couldn't mount solid attacks all game, but still won.

Only 1 for 10 with RISP today, otherwise it probably would've been a blowout win for Jays. Good win nonetheless, if you wanna make a deep playoff run, you gotta know how to win even when not at your A game

MLB is now listing tomorrow's Rangers starter as Spencer Howard. The 25 year old righty was the 45th pick in the 2017 draft by Philadelphia before being traded last season when the Phillies picked up Ian Kennedy.

in 25 career games (21 starts) he has just 74 innings pitched and an ERA approaching 7.00 while walking over 10% of batters faced.

Ryu is such a favorite of mine just because of how much of a quirk he is compared to conventional.
