Don't forget about Hughes' own son!Ohgren, Kemell, Yurov, Snuggerud, Firkus, Gauthier, Kulich, Howard, Miroschnichenko, Lambert, Pickering, Del Bel Belluz, Luneau, Chesley & Bischel. A few of these will surely be available when Habs pick 26th
Hughes is working on something.
There’s no need to do much moreHughes is working on something.
Ostlund was one.Alright draft guys.. Who's the top 5 remaining in this draft right now? Anyone you want the Habs to move up for?
I personally don't put a lot of stock in men's league stats for 17 year old in his first year for projecting down the road. Caufield's first half stats under DD are an example why. The draft stock of a young kid in a high level men's league shouldn't be penalized at the mercy of playing vs experienced men for coaches who are paid to win rather than develop. I'm big on tools, what they do with their tools, development curve progress, compete, etc. It's also clear that Slaf developed a stronger defensive game over the course of the season.Like we discussed before... other 17 year olds produced more than him.
I don't dismiss the tournament stuff I simply put that on the side and focus on Liiga because that's what concerns me. Mean streak bean streak, Anderson got 4 points in 20-odd playoff games. We need a star forward not another Armia. I hope he's a star forward.
In any case, the pick is made so let's hope for the best.
agreedIf Habs get a top 4 pick next year forget a 2C they're getting a top line C
The guy has a better shot, is a faster skater than people think and is a surprisingly smart passer. Also his hockey IQ is underrated. can’t lie his numbers in Liiga are fugly. That’s why I preferred Wright. Will he be able to score on NHL goalies? Sure, Dach is bigger than the centers available, and he went 3rd in a stronger draft, but he also messed up his wrist and Chicago was ready to let him go as part of a rebuild.
Hughes must know he can ship guys out.
I had that nightmare last year.Hopefully I wake up soon, realizing that tonight was just a bad nightmare
This. There was only 1 Jagr in history of hockey. He is nothing like Jagr. Not even the right country. He's a lot more like Armia, you just hope he will be able to put it together more than once every 5 games.
Stop being a drama queen, we haven't even seen them play yet jesus...Always in MTL that we always stall everything longer
Did you see his family? He's still growing. LOL!He is NOT lanky though. Hes beeg, beeg. Obviously hes gonns get stronger, but thay physical edge is going to stay neutral to slightly positive?
The defense next year almost 100% guarantees us a top 3 pickIf Habs get a top 4 pick next year forget a 2C they're getting a top line C
Ostlund was one.
Now I have Firkus, Kemell, Havelid, trikozov, Lambert, Miro, Calle, Kulich, Ohgren, Yurov, Bischel left
