WJC: 2022 Team Slovakia roster talk

Head coach said, he is a player for top world leagues. Next season stay in Slovakia, but then, he should move.
 
Any players that where not on the team that should be included in the summer tournament?

Slafkosvky is gonna dominate!
 
August instead of December? It will be the same story. 35 shots a game on goal but zero goals, terrible looking powerplay. Only Slafkovsky and Nemec look much better than they did. Rest of guys will be about the same level as they were in December.

And what about Mesar, Dvorsky, Knazko etc? I think all of them will be better as they were 8 months ago...

I wrote the post after frustration loss to Finland which was cursed by same NT issues. So what’s your solution? How would you fix the powerplay that wasn’t working? What line combinations would you utilize?

Slovakia has enough skilled and creative players for PPs so I don't think it is necessarily about line combinations. PPs can be improved in relatively short time. Its more about practice and that's mostly coaches job to bring some new ideas and tactics
 
This team will be very hard to put together. Lots of spots up for grabs, I can’t even predict what it will look like. But I believe there will be several substitutions.

In:
- Baco
- J. Chromiak
- Marinov
- Ciernik
- Molnar
- One more defender , undecided right now

Out:
- Krajc
- Lasak
- Strbak
- Bakala
- Faith
- Elias

That feels like a stronger team than during Christmas.

Kaslik won't be an extra. Despite being a forward, he's been averaging 20+ minutes in the WJC in the past. And that's before becoming close to a PPG player in the QMJHL.
