WJC: 2022 Sweden Roster Talk

Nobody should be suprised about that. We are Sweden after all. Monten is probaly gonna be one of the assistens to Hallam. Why have Hallam not named his second assistent? Thats right, he is waiting to after the Aug WJC is done. Mark my words. It does not matter you guys say, think again amigos. Monten will handle our forwards.

Also, we are gonna get relegated in this WJC in Aug. All other nations have improved, players will be added. Take a look at a possible German team for exemple, its really good. We are not beating reinforcment Germany, Slovakia, Czechia, Usa, Finland and Canada with Monten behind the bench. It will be a relegation battle beetween Sweden, Latvia, Swiss and Austria.

Btw this "changes" for the WJC team will be out with Ekmark in with Milton Oscarsson. Montens master plan.

I’m done watching hockey forever if he does.

To make it clear there is also no way in hell I’m coming close to watching this bullshit after the federation backtracked and let this pisspoor f***ing asshat coach again. See you in december provided that Montén is forever done after his last pathetic outing otherwise, hope you all do well, cheers or whatever.

So Holtz & Raymond stopped by their teams. Sounds like Olausson could be added. Nybeck injured. Would like to sese some different forwards as Eye of Ra mentioned, overall feels like we downgraded?
 
2 more players can be added. Hopefully that will be 2 of Olausson/Leo Carlsson/Öhgren/Östlund. But Monten probaly gonna invite Milton Oscarson and Isak Garfvé.

Montén has literally said they're waiting for a response regarding Olausson.

As for who'll take the 25th spot, yeah probably some grinder.

Yeah but if Olausson declines he should bring in Leo Carlsson. But he is not gonna do that.

Why don't Detroit sabotage Sweden with Wallinder, Edvinsson and Niederbach ?

Raymond is not junior player anymore, of course he will not join. He was damn NHL first liner already.

I'm fine with this roster. Only player I'm really missing is Noah Östlund. He would bring something different to this center lineup.

I dont want the three best players on the same line. So thats why Eklund is in second line. Niederbach is good enough to play first line center.

The defence i dont know if lööf or hävelid should Pair with Edvinsson. I think Edvinsson is good enough to carry the other defenceman.

What do you think about my line up? I think its medal candidate

Eklund is great as a winger aswell. First line would have chemistry from DIF.

Second line is classic scoring line with 3 skilled players.

If that 3rd line works, its gonna be a nice jackpot. Rosen have potential, hopefully he explodes or else Ljungman, mr.safe, will be the 3C.

The 4th line is 3 physical guys, just a safe line.

Not high on Sjöberg.

When it comes to D, it should be Forsjäll and Hävelid sitting.

Wallstedt is nr 1 in goal with Clang as backup.
 
Does Monten not like Wallinder? Is he going to play Wallinder top 4 minutes after cutting him originally? Maybe Wallinder finished strong enough to earn a top 4 spot this time around

Wallinder should without any doubt play. But Monten is probaly playing a plug like Forsjäll instead of him.

What is Monten waiting on? One more forward can be added. Maybe he is waiting too see if Zion Nybeck gets healthy?

Opinions? I am pleased with this team, the two first lines Will be very dangerous, on defence im happy Wallinder finally gonna play.. If both Raymond and Holtz came i think we would be gold candidates but Lysell and Lekkerimäki can take their ”places” especially Lysell!

On the defence its the best players We have so im happy
