The draft has not happened yet.Is there somewhere where you find the draft order for the 2022 for rounds 1-14?
Yes I understand but is the order for picking settled? The draft has not happened yet.
but it will be on the QMJHL website
yes, although there will be some trades on draft night so there probably won't be an accurate 1 to 14th round.Yes I understand but is the order for picking settled?
Agreed I didn't think that puckpreps did a good job on their rankings but they use a system similar to rival.coms. so that could be why.A well known ranking site just released their guide, with Quinn Kennedy coming in at #3 overall, I don't see him going in the top 5, could RN take him at 6 ? That would put a couple of Gulls in RN next season....Halifax will take him at 7 otherwise.
Gill will go to Rouyn play with his brother at #6 or #10 I'd bet.Vision hockey did a nice job of their round 1 mock draft on twitter....Kennedy to Halifax at 7 , Shields to Drummondville at 9 , Philips to Cape at 11 , Kearsey to Gatineau at 14 , Gill to Victo at 16 , hard to argue with any of those selections really.
As we know the order of selection will change before July 4th with Futures and trades being announced.
I like that split!I consulted some lists in the last few days. I brought them together and made an average that gave me a final rating for each players at their position. This is not MY ranking. I just used the opinion of others.
Only a few days before draft day. We will finally see how teams figure that out pretty soon. Remember that every year we get some surprises. In 2019, Cole Huckins was rated as a 3rd rounder (CSR) and was drafted 1st round. In 2020, everyone tought that Justin Côté would get picked in the top 10 and he had to spend the night undrafted. And I won't talk about last year since the scouting was made without even seeing kids play real hockey (with contact and real stakes). As always, there will be some surprises and we will all forget these pre-draft rankings. But let's just have a litte fun while we still can!

I'm no goalie specialist but it could be dangerous to base an evaluation on the Q-Cup Challenge. In 2018, Lavallée had a very tough challenge (.821%). Out of the 12 goalies that were there, only him, Coulombe and Lapenna were able to establish themeselves in the league. But I agree that Langevin is one of the top goalies to be considered.I like that split!
Are the Q teams working with such a list or is it a pure raking?
IMO:
G: agree with the top 3. Furey did not have spectacular play off, and a rough Q cup. Would put Langevin
D: nothing shocking, the order also makes sense
F: questioning beaudoin & desjardins, would add michaud & butler. For the latter, despite the size, he has a ton of skills and one of the very good high IQ
Their two goalies were actually 17 this season. They are in the right age group. I think Cap Breton needs an elite offensive threat to be honest. If Poirier wants to go, they need that guy.
I'd be pretty excited to have Squires, Patterson and Poirier going forward.
Eagles already confirmed they are picking Lavoie. Not a bad pick by any means, but that defensive core is getting crowded.Eagles will be adding a significant piece up front at the draft via trade - also adding an established D man too
I think they skip on the goalie and take Lavoie or Poirier. Cape will be solid next season, Young but solid for sure
Sudddenly, in one morning, it's much less crowded than it was!Eagles already confirmed they are picking Lavoie. Not a bad pick by any means, but that defensive core is getting crowded.

I agree. He gave up pretty fast in my opinion. He could have taken some time to evaluate the kid a bit more. Wasn't easy for anyone in Sydney last season. Unless there are other reasons not related to hockey.Agreed. GM made room for Lavoie and Daigle which he believes are his future core I imagine. (I agree).
Thought the Cape did a good job on their trades except the Ouellet one which was a headscratcher for me vs a 3rd round pick.

I assume Boisvert must have told most teams NCAA unless Chicoutimi. Zonnon is a bit of surprise as well, although I think he's still a solid pick if he attends. The names selected don't really surprise me much, the order kind of does in some areas however.
Kind of surprised by some of the potential NCAA guys... especially Zonnon and Leroux. Thought they'd drop out of the first and guys like Carbonneau, Durocher, Lacerte could maybe get in there.
Still, no disaster pick in that round imo.

With 4 first picks Boisvert is a good bet for Chicoutimi. If he doesn’t report they get the same pick next year.
